Payment Terminal Cloud Solution

The benefits of Payment Terminal Cloud Solution

A payment cloud terminal solution just looks more organized than a non-cloud solution, does it? That’s because modern cloud terminal solutions have learned lessons from the past and now bring credit card processing into the future. With the cloud approach, a credit card terminal can open a channel with a server and leave it open indefinitely, improving data flow. And many terminals can connect at one time and send messages to each other through the server. The benefits are amazing, even if you don’t understand the concept at first glance.

With the terminal cloud approach, transactions can all be processed through the same system, whether the card is present or not, and PCI compliance is simplified. Because a terminal communicates with the gateway when using the terminal cloud approach, the POS is out of PCI scope, and that’s a very good thing. The POS doesn’t deal with the terminal or the card data.
